Our Association was a supporting partner for the “Corporate Governance, Risk Management and RegTech: What’s Ahead for Asian Markets” webcast co-organised by Asia Society Hong Kong Center and Starling on 14 January 2021. The webcast explored the challenges in governance and supervision of conduct risks as a result of COVID-19, how the HKEX has sought to extend its disciplinary powers to deter misconduct, and also the potential for new technologies to boost business resiliency, especially in these challenging times.
